Alive is a Korean movie that depicts the entertaining zombie genre of all time. The movie starred Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-Hye, with the director, Cho Il-hyung. It was released in June 2020 as if it was tailor-made for the phenomenal incident of coronavirus.

Personally, I expected a lot from it since we all know that zombie genre is one of the most memorable movies made by Koreans. Especially after the heart-moving Train to Busan movie which gained lots of good and outstanding feedback from all over the world. Nevertheless, my expectation wasn’t in vain. Although the location never changes throughout the movie yet, the producer was still able to perform better and I think that’s what makes them more amazing.

Moreover, the way they portray realistic situations and emotions already made me want to applaud them for doing a good job. Specifically, the part where they showed how Joon-woo reacts to the situation and how he tried to cope with the problem. After all, Joon-woo reactions portray most of the people’s emotions towards a problem. Plus, the chosen actor and actress did an amazing job on interpreting the characters they were given upon.

All in all, I will rate it a 7.5 out of 10. It teaches us that no matter what hurdles and problems life may bring you upon, do not give up without fighting back. As the saying goes on, there is still hope as long as life’s going on. It’s completely okay and normal to be tired but make sure that after resting, you must stand and fight back again. Since, life is all about failures and experiences.

I really recommend this movie to anyone, especially for people who specifically have interest in the zombie genre. It was really a good and outstanding movie that everyone should know. So, what are you waiting for? Go and watch it now!!!
