I am deeply sad on how people tolerate piracy. Perhaps some are not aware that they are doing it but most are doing it intentionally.

There are many people who prefer to buy pirated or imitation products than the original ones. One of the reasons that they do this is because of the price. Most buyers would like to save money and they value the quantity over quality. One example of this is buying fake shoes. We know that this is not permitted by the laws but many are happy buying class A imitation shoes and they even recommend it to their friends. Do you respect the owner of the brand? Do you consider their effort in making it popular? Sometimes, we justify wrong actions by using using our social problem. One may say that they are poor or they can’t afford to buy the original one.  Still, you as a buyer of fake products, tolerate piracy.

Another example is letting someone install cracked software in your computer. You are very happy that you don’t spend much in installing Windows, Microsoft office, adobe products, etc.. Yes, you got it in a very cheap price. You entertain piracy. You let others earn from stealing one’s product. Perhaps, you are not aware that the product is fake but you know how much it really worth.

Sometimes, we need to stand to what is right and just even no one is watching us. Support original products. Do not tolerate piracy. If you do, you are also stealing. I hope, you as a reader if this post, will start changing the habit of patronizing fake products. It’s much better to support unknown products or local brands than buying fake ones. Don’t give wealth to people or owner of fakes products. Don’t let them succeed from doing the wrong things.
