Tired of taking boring pictures and want to level up your photography skills for your Instagram? Here are some tricks to run away from boring pictures, and bring instagrammable pics to life!

    The Low Angle

These are my top favorite tricks when taking pictures especially if my subject is a person or animal. However, it can also be used for other subjects but I just prefer it the other way. Low angle is a very common trick used by a lot of people and can be seen everywhere in the social media platform such as Instagram.

This is perfect for people who want to highlight one’s features or just want to have a longer leg specifically for those who are not gifted in terms of height. In short small people like me. I love using low angle as it will give the illusion to other people that I am a tall person. That’s why every time someone sees me personally, they are always shocked to know the truth that I am a small person and I always laugh every time it happens. It is truly convenient to make my pictures instagrammable.

    Birds Eye View

I always use this angle every time my subject is surrounded by a beautiful nature. The range is wide depending on the person who is taking the pictures.

Bird’s eye view angle is usually used in the film industry. Most of it can already be seen at every scene and you may not even realize that you have already seen one. I love using this angle when I am in a high place because I want other people to see the perspective I have. This is also one of the most common uses and a creative way to make your boring picture instagrammable. For example is the picture below that I have captured at my school.

    Eye Level

Eye level camera angle is the most common and basic way to take pictures. Even though it’s called eye level it doesn’t mean that the viewer must see the eye of the people being taken nor does it need to look on the camera specifically. Eye level refers to the human standard perspective which means it shows what a normal vision of the people see. No creative angle needed, just a simple basic picture will do.

I mostly use this picture when my subject doesn’t need much trick or angle. Mostly sky, ocean and stuff that are already breath-taking is my common subject for this angle. You can also be creative with this angle if you try to capture it by making your background dark and only one direction has a light. This is also a way to make your pictures instagrammable and creative. Just a little bit of imagination will make this angle go wild.
