Quantitative and qualitative are two types of research that vary on approach. What are the differences of the two?

    1. Quantitative are based on numbers while qualitative are dependent on texts and words.
    2. Quantitative uses surveys and experiments as the main methods while qualitative uses interviews and analysis.
    3. Quantitative is favorable on probability sampling while qualitative is more applicable to non-probability sampling.
    4. Quantitative uses numbers in presenting data while qualitative utilizes codes set by the researcher.
